About The Author
Martin Handford began his career as a freelance illustrator specialising in drawing crowd scenes. The turning point came when he was asked to create a book showcasing his impressive talent. From this the character Wally was born — originally to provide a link between each scene. The “Where’s Wally?” books have gone on to become a global success. Each Wally picture takes Martin at least eight weeks to draw.
